Bhutan Travelplus is a registered and licensed tour operator under the Department of Tourism, Bhutan. Founded in 2013 by Mr. Rinzin Wangchuk, the company was established with a deep passion for meaningful travel and a commitment to sustainable tourism guided by Bhutan’s unique philosophy of Gross National Happiness (GNH).

Mr. Rinzin Wangchuk began his career in the travel industry in 2011 as an English and Japanese language guide. He later became one of the first Bhutanese to earn an MBA in Tourism & Hospitality, combining professional expertise with hands-on field experience. Together with a dynamic team of young travel experts, Bhutan Travelplus has grown into one of the country’s leading tour operators, hosting a remarkable number of guests in recent years and earning recognition for curating distinctive, high-quality journeys.

Our vision is rooted in Bhutan’s GNH philosophy — balancing cultural preservation, environmental conservation, good governance, and sustainable socio-economic development.
