Daily Schedule
Day 1: Pick up from Bagdogra Airport and Transfer to Phuentsholing.
Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our representative will meet and greet you and after that proceed toward Phuentsholing (4 hours) for the overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Thimphu and on the way sightseeing and overnight stay in Thimphu.
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, complete the immigration formalities and then check out. Proceed towards Thimphu, we stop our journey on the way to see and feel the Bhutan Himalayan scenery. On the way, we will reach the highest point of about 2800m/9,185ft. Leisure time in the evening for shopping. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu sightseeing and transfer to Punakha and overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing, Buddha Dordenma Statue, a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, the National Memorial Chorten Stupas: The chorten or stupa was built in the memory of the third king. Takin Zoo: the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. Changangkha Lhakhang: This structure dates back to the 15th century and is one of the oldest in the region. Simply Bhutan Museum: Projects is a living museum and a photo studio. You get to experience the traditions and household rituals of Bhutan in this museum. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha day excursion and overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast drive to Punakha. On the way Stop at Dochula-Pass (3150 mts.) a beautiful mountain pass, which is about 20 km from Thimphu is a concentration of 108 memorial stupas known as “Druk Wangyal Chortens”. Visit Punakha Dzong – built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. Punakha Suspension Bridge: It is one of the longest and oldest suspension bridges of the scenically blessed kingdom, Bhutan built above Po Chhu River. Proceed towards Paro & overnight stay in Paro.
Day 5: Trekking to Tiger’s Nest and overnight stay in Paro
Hiking to Tiger’s Nest Monastery. which clings to a cliff 3,000 feet above the valley floor. Legend has it that Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew to this location on the back of a tiger in the 8th century. Guru Rinpoche introduced Buddhism to their country, and the Taktsang Monastery is one of the principal pilgrimage destinations in Bhutan. Spend time with the monks as they pray. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 6: Paro local sightseeing and overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
After breakfast proceed towards Paro. Visit Paro Dzong, the National Museum Ta Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang the monastery, the Ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. Proceed to Phuentsholing Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Day 7: Transfer from Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Airport.
After breakfast checkout from Hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport for onward journey. Tour concludes with happy memories.
